German Hallertau Perle is a dual-purpose hop, aromatic and bittering.
 
Its alpha acid content is between 4.5 and 9.5%, and its beta acid content between 2 and 6%.
 
It has herbal aromas with slightly spicy notes. It has delicate floral, fruity and menthol notes, as well as hints of tea and pepper. It has a pleasant bitterness.
 
Perle offers a bit of everything, with green fruit, citrus and honey balanced by woody, barrel and peppery notes.
 
Recommended for European lagers, Belgian beers, Pale Ales, Wheats, Kolsch, Lagers and Pilsners.
